Solid Waste Disposal First Saturday Citizen Trash Drop-Off Day Collin County has contracted with the North Texas Municipal Water District's landfill in Melissa to conduct free once-a-month clean-up days for Collin County residents to dispose their trash. Besides eligible trash (see below) the clean-up days offer recycling services for plastics, paper, aluminum, and glass. Tires will also be accepted.
