CALL TO ORDER – Roll Call and Determination of a Quorum

o    2020 0615 Daniel and Morgan Rizzo and three of their seven children visited and donated water, Gatorade and snacks to the Parker Police Department

o    2020 0619 Julie Jackson, Murphy, Texas, donated 350 N-95 masks from Murphy Lowe’s Home Improvement

o    2020 0623 Louis Zettler, dropped off 12 sets of flowers for the staff and staff’s wives

o    2020 0629 Martha Bellens-Martin dropped off a thank you card and donated a case of water and several different snack items to the Police Department

o    2020 0714 Ken and Heidi Meixelsperger donated Gatorade, cookies, candy bars and nuts

executive session START TO FINISHPursuant to the provisions of Chapter 551, Texas Government Code the City Council may hold a closed meeting.

9.    RECESS TO CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE AUTHORITY CONTAINED IN:

a.   Government Code Section 551.074 Personnel—To deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee.

b.  Government Code Section 551.071(1)—Consultation with City Attorney concerning Pending or Contemplated Litigation.

c.   Government Code Section 551.071(2) – Consultation with Attorney on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the governmental body under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas Clearly conflicts with this chapter (Open Meetings Act).

12. ADJOURN

In addition to any specifically identified Executive Sessions, Council may convene into Executive Session at any point during the open meeting to discuss any item posted on this Agenda.  The Open Meetings Act provides specific exceptions that require that a meeting be open.  Should Council elect to convene into Executive Session, those exceptions will be specifically identified and announced.  Any subsequent action, as a result of this Executive Session, will be taken and recorded in open session.
