In September 2019, Gabriella Abraham was selected out of numerous applicants, to serve as a member of U.S. Representative Van Taylor's Congressional Youth Advisory Council. In this role, she is able to have a deeper understanding of the legislative process and the way current events, as well as, how history shapes U.S. policies and politics.

On October 11, 2019, Gabriella and other selected members of the JROTC Plano East Color Guard, were given the distinct honor of presenting The Colors for the Honorable Judge Andrea Bouressa's Oath of Ceremony. This event was officiated by Texas Governor Greg Abbot, who Gabriella had the honor and privilege of meeting. Gabriella looks forward to continuing to be an actively involved resident of Parker, as well as, the surrounding communities.

Gabriella is the oldest daughter of Parker City Councilwoman, Diana Abraham and her husband Johnson. She is currently a sophomore at Williams High School in Plano, where she is involved in multiple extracurricular activities. These activities include being a basketball player on Williams High School Lady Warriors Basketball team, an active member of the Chinese Club and the National Honor Society. Gabriella also holds a leadership position in the JROTC Mighty Fine Plano East Panther Battalion as a First Sergeant. She has always been interested in serving in various leadership positions and has volunteered at various Parker City events throughout the past few years. In the future, Gabriella hopes to attain an appointment to attend the U.S. Military Academy at West Point or the U.S. Naval Academy to complete her education before continuing to serve her community and country.
